Jane Thomson OAM is one of Australia's leading wine communicators, recognised for her leadership in wine, gender equity advocacy, and consumer engagement. In 2023, Australia's Wine Business Magazine described her as "arguably THE leader of Australian wine in a decade."
Jane is the founder and Managing Director of The Fabulous Ladies' Wine Society (est. 2012), Australia's largest community for women who love wine, and the founder of Australian Women in Wine (est. 2015), which she chaired until 2025.
Awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for services to the wine industry, Jane is a three-time Digital Wine Communicator of the Year (the only person to receive the award more than once), author of the bestselling The Fabulous Ladies Guide to Wine, and a sought-after speaker, event host and wine tour leader known for making wine engaging, accessible and commercially relevant.
