The Central Stags are getting down to the business end of the national one-day Ford Trophy campaign.
It's FREE entry to enjoy your Waitangi weekend Saturday at the cricket as the Central Stags look to knock over Auckland’s city slickers. These two star-packed teams met in last year’s national one-day finals weekend, when only a Jimmy Neesham century stopped the Stags from progressing to the Grand Final.
The Stags themselves famously won The Ford Trophy here at McLean Park just a few years ago after an unbeaten Josh Clarkson century. This is the only Ford Trophy one-dayer at the park this summer, so pack a picnic and head on down to enjoy the free entertainment and autograph-hunting.

You're free to come and go as you please and it's a great spot to bring your lunch to see a few Blackcaps playing for their domestic teams. There are stores handy to the ground on Latham Street for coffees and consumables. Ease up on the grass banks with kids playing or get the views in the Harris Stand.
