We’re pleased to welcome Jase Williams – a trauma-informed practitioner, educator, and TEDx speaker – who brings a practical, real-world perspective to understanding how trauma presents and how we can respond in ways that support better outcomes for rangatahi.
This workshop is open to anyone with an interest in supporting young people. It will be particularly relevant for those working in education, community services, health, sport, and related sectors, with a focus on building capability across Central Hawke’s Bay.
What you’ll gain:
• Increased understanding of trauma and its impact on young people
• Practical strategies to better recognise and respond in your day-to-day work
• Tools to strengthen your professional practice across different settings
• Connection with others working in the youth sector across CHB
Participants will also go in the draw to win a signed copy of Jase’s book Your Trauma Has a Whakapapa.
Books will also be available for purchase: $30 (Cash only)
