This gorgeous site can be seen with the backdrop of the snow covered Ruahine Ranges in the distance. Come to pick, walk, ponder or picnic!

Each September, the Mabin family open their gates to the public for the annual Taniwha Daffodil display. The event marks the start of spring in Central Hawke’s Bay and visitors will be treated to many hundreds of Daffodil varieties in bloom in their 20 acre, park-like setting. Families, groups, visitors and garden enthusiasts are welcome to come and wander through the daffodils, picnic, enjoy the sunshine and fresh air or pick up a coffee and snack from the ‘Coffee Shed’.

Entry is free, with charges for PYO daffodils and pre-picked bunches (when available). Groups larger than 10 are encouraged to book.
